Not so fast, there, friend. You've gotta read some stuff first:

By registering as a new user, you agree to all the terms and conditions in here, so you might as well read it

  1. The email address you supply must be accurate. This is the only way you can recover a lost password, so if you're going to use a bogus one you'd damn well better remember your password. If you are going to use a forged or inaccurate address, be warned that I will periodically purge the database of fake accounts.
  2. Statement of ownership: Keep in mind that this is a public forum. Anyone can wander in off the light-pipe and into the forum. Share intellectual property at your own risk. Any "work" posted should be stamped or watermarked if you don't want it to fall into public domain. Exceptions on this Statement are made in the case of collaborative works (forum 'tennis' for example)
  3. Statement of privacy: IP logs are presently (september 2002) not kept. You email address will be masked in your profile and only accessible by Administrators. Your email may be used to report important information to you (lost password, impending downtime or other relative). Any other information you volunteer will be available to the general public. We cannot be held responsible, for example, if you post your phone number and then begin to get strange calls. Remeber that the original term for a forum was "bulliten board system" (BBS), and that is what the content is treated as.
  4. Statement of free presence: You understand that you are here of your own accord and request all information. This means that you are responsible for what you see. At any time you may be banned for improper behavior (noted below).
  5. Improper behavior is judged by the Administrators and is subject to change without warning. Use your brain, eh? We're in favor of free speech as much as the next guys, but serious discrimination will not be tolerated. We're all equals here - I'm as vulnerable to mockery as anyone else is... keeping in mind that I think ironic custom titles are funny. If anyone genuinely offends you, please discuss it with them in a civil manner. If this is ineffective, notify one of the Administrators. HINT: Record-keeping is good.
  6. Have fun. That's why I spend hours writing all this.
